If ranting was an Olympic Sport I would have a medal.

Hello! The last time I posted was just before the Olympic opening ceremony...what a week it's been! For the past couple of days I've been stressed and tired and generally not in the mood to write but I feel better now!

I thought the opening ceremony was brilliant although I had to get up early the next morning, so I stopped watching it at about quarter to eleven. I loved the Voldemort versus Mary Poppins part and I thought it was nice how Danny Boyle mentioned the NHS after everyone moans about them constantly. They do the best job they can and save countless lives every day, where would we be without them? Anyway, the Olympic cauldron was lit by the right people (would still have preferred David Tennant but we all knew that was almost impossible) and the whole thing went almost faultlessly- go Britain!

Another reason to cheer for Britain is that we are currently in third position on the medals table, with 10 Gold, 7 Silver and 8 Bronze medals overall! Every time I go out I hear that we've won another medal on the radio or through Twitter, I hope we can keep this up until the end of the Games! I've really been enjoying watching some new sports like Gymnastics, Rowing and Swimming as I wouldn't normally watch them, but the Tennis has been great as well! Andy Murray is through to the gold medal match but I'll miss it as I'm going to Leeds with my dad! This is becoming a trend...

Today I've watched Jessica Ennis who comes from Sheffield (in the same county as my hometown, good old Yorkshire!) compete in the heptathlon. She's in gold medal position with just the 800 metres to go which I'm sure she will ace! I felt for Rebecca Adlington as she thought she'd let everyone down by getting two bronze medals but a medal is a medal and she's an Olympian! I've barely moved from the sofa all day, compared to everyone else she's an inspiration!

The reason why I was (and still am) stressed is because I tried to buy my sister a book from iTunes but it said it was the first time I had made a purchase on my computer so I had to answer my security questions, which obviously, being me, I have forgotten the answers to. So I went to the apple website and tried to reset my security questions. Here is the frustrating part- you can't reset your security questions unless you know the answers to your original questions. How stupid is that?? I know people have their accounts hacked but other websites manage to be secure without it being like bloody Fort Knox to the average non-account-hacking person! As if this couldn't get any more annoying, I've emailed Apple through their 'Express Lane' (express lane my arse) twice now and despite claiming they reply with a solution within 48 hours, they haven't replied to either of my emails.

I could make a new account, but that would mean the money on my other account would be completely wasted and I would have to spend £15 on an iTunes card as I don't have a credit card. I sound really tight with my money but £15 is all I have to spend and I'm going on holiday next week so I don't want to spend it on something I don't really need! If they don't reply within the next day I'm going to throw my iPod from a 20 storey building and send them a picture of it laying on floor with it's screen all cracked. Pure evil.

Also, I was planning on buying a digital camera so I could post some more pictures on here to share with you but with £15 I won't get far in that quest, although in a few months I can play the National Lottery so I have one in a million odds of winning some money to buy a camera with! I live in hope...
