The end of January is near...

Happy end of January day! I must say that I'm pretty glad this month is over, it's been so long that I can't even remember half of what's happened in it! Hopefully February will be more interesting and brings snow with it! I'm seriously annoyed that there's hardly been any so far this year. Grr.

I really must start to revise for this maths exam on the 2nd of March, I'm not too worried about it now but I usually start to panic about two days before. Also our little Jeremy Kyle show featuring the characters from the myth of Medusa has to be ready for Thursday when we perform it! We'll be fine, we can always improvise...the same can't be said for my (non-existent) acting skills though!

As I said in my vlog (thank you if you've watched it by the way!), I'm probably not doing work experience in the summer as I have to go to Geography camp in Wales-noooooo!! I told my mum and the first thing she said was: "So how much is that going to cost then?"

I'm sat on my bed listening to Teenagers by My Chemical Romance-what a song! Makes a change from my usual quiet melodic stuff:)

To vlog or not to vlog?

Evening:) I really can't decide whether to do a vlog tomorrow. I have spots and homework to do, but I do have quite a lot to say, unlike last time!

Hmm...

Stay tuned to see, I'll see how I feel/look tomorrow! Perhaps I won't have to go to school as it looks like there'll be some snow in the next few days, I'm waiting for the weather report on the regional news now. Think it'll be more 'down south' though:(

Friday!

Just a quick post as I'm using my sister's laptop because I've used my internet allowance on my dongle. Oops. Anyway, today we had a post-16 day (half an hour really) where colleges came in and gave us leaflets, prospectuses and free pens! I got one to replace my favourite pen which sadly died yesterday from the exact same college! Should last me another two years:) Me and Emily got our own table in Science as everyone moved, which was good as it was so awkward,we literally had nothing in common at all with anyone else. Got lots of homework so I must be off, have a good Friday!

Tuesday/Wednesday

Hello! Just wanted to let you know how happy I am with the response to my little vlog, 20 views in two days! I thought I'd be stuck on 1 for ages but I've got a couple of nice comments and stuff on it, so I'll probably do another one next Monday:)

We started Chemistry this morning, I found it pretty easy but that'll definitely change from what I've heard! I'm normally okay in Science lessons but when it comes to exams I just forget everything and panic.  Had quite a fun English lesson doing a bit of drama work on the myth of Medusa; we have to do a Jeremy Kyle chat show starring Medusa (me!), Athena, Poseidon/Perseus and a host. We practiced in the hall today so we could have more space which made it easier. Our show basically consists of me having a bitch fight with Ella(Athena) and Emily pops on occasionally as Graham, the guy with the test result cards and she is also Perseus, the demigod who attempted to chop my head off. Rude.

We have two weeks to perfect it, then we get assessed! I got an A for my assessment on 'The Others', which is surprising as we were told it was a practice so I spent one of the lessons talking. Go watch that film if you want to be spooked! It's good but quite underrated, it's more of a traditional psychological horror.

The longest week of my life is over!

Sorry I haven't updated over the last few days,I've been busy revising! Not that it paid off much, the exam today went even worse than the Biology one last week! I messed up a lot of the equation questions and I didn't realise that there was questions on the back of the paper until the time was up! What makes it worse is that I knew about the topic they were on and could've easily picked up marks. There's nothing I can do now so I'm not going to worry about it too much. I haven't really got much homework which is good but I think I'm getting a cold! :( I hope I'm well enough to go into town tomorrow and shopping on Sunday with the rest of the Triple E bunch! I shall continue the British spirit by keeping calm and carrying on!

About me!

Today has been pretty normal (but still funny,as it is everyday!) so I'm taking this opportunity to tell you a bit about myself, not that any of you really want to know but hey. So,my name is Eden,I'm 15 years old and I'm from West Yorkshire,England. My main interests are music, reading, tweeting/blogging and occasionally writing. I can't really say what kind of music I like, I have a sort of eclectic taste, but I like the genre that is referred to as alternative/indie/rock and includes Elbow, Coldplay, Fleet Foxes, The Killers, The Wombats etc-just a few of my faves! I also like tv and film (who doesn't?) but if I listed my favourites I'd be here all day!

I don't really have a hobby to be honest, I just sort of sit around the house doing stuff, but I suppose that can be allowed for the time being as I have exams and I'm 'revising'. I have no idea what I want to do in the future, I've kinda planned up to university but after that I have no idea. Running out of things to say as I'm rather boring! My favourite subject at school is probably English, and History comes a close second! Maths is by far my least favourite subject, it's made even worse by the teachers! I shan't dwell on it for too long.

Ummmm...I would like to move down south in the future, I'm so bored of the north! I'm also a city person as I don't like being in the countryside for too long, and I don't like beaches. Seriously though, how can people just sit there for hours doing absolutely nothing, giving themselves skin cancer and being stung by wasps?! I have a phobia of wasps and deep water, which is partly the reason for my beach hatred. Anyway, off-topic beach rant over, I shall probably update on Saturday!

Sunday/Monday

Greetings blog readers! Just going to let you know how the shopping spree and today went. Yesterday I made my first purchases from Urban Outfitters (this is a truely shameful confession, sorry); they were a vintage-style watch and a gray t-shirt with a flowery skull on it:) I also bought two more albums from HMV, in a small attempt to save the whole chain from administration! I 've been buying too many cds in the last few weeks-I haven't really had chance to listen to them properly yet! At least I'm now the proud owner of all the Killers albums! Went to the massive Boots to find that the Soap and Glory eyeliners has sold out there as well:( I'll try again next week!

Today we all actually enjoyed P.E! We were playing hockey but we had to get into threes and make a chain, with the two people on the end using the hockey sticks. Lots of screaming/screeching ensued but it was lots of fun! I'm making more of an effort to revise for the Physics test on Friday so I'll import my new albums on to iTunes and go do some revision. Thursday/Friday/Saturday

Sorry I haven't updated in the last few days, I've been very stressed so I decided to relax last night! I'm currently listening to my mum trying explain On Demand TV to my grandma,this may take a while! Anyway, I'm guessing those of you who are following me on Twitter know how my biology exam went, and for those of you who don't...well let's just say it went crap. I'm expecting to get a C at best, and I know that's a pass, but for me that's like a massive fail.      

However, I have a Physics test next Friday, so if I revise a lot for that then hopefully I'll make up for it! I've also finished my History assessment and have just started the task of cutting 2500 words out of it so it stays in the word limit! Help...

I went into town earlier and bought a new red lipstick because my other one is all weirdly shaped and I had a voucher so I thought I might as well buy one. Planning a shopping spree in Leeds with Dad tomorrow, very excited!! I'm a spendaholic, I can't help it;)

I'd also just like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has read this so far, I'm glad people have shown an interest in my terribly boring life! I'll go now because this is starting to sound like an Oscar acceptance speech...

Just a technical update to say I have changed the design and colours of my blog and linked it to my Twitter feed because I'm always going on about my blog to my followers on Twitter. And now if they decide to read my blog it will look good!

I've also discovered that the "Awesome Inc." template isn't very awesome.

Going out after 6 o clock=much excitement.

This is just a short post, I'll probably post Monday night and maybe upload some photos of me and the best friends-we're going out for Ella's birthday tea tomorrow:-) I'm very excited (I don't get out much!) and I'm currently planning my outfit. One down side though-I'll miss Sherlock! Thank God for iplayer!

Sudden realisation- Sunday night tv is so much better than Saturday night (except for Strictly Come Dancing). Seriously though, who wants to watch a group of desperate tarty women trying to get off with posers/weirdos? Take Me Out, I'm talking about you.

Birthday! And back to school:(

I think I'm doing quite well at keeping this regularly updated! *pats self on the back*

It was my birthday last Saturday as I mentioned in my last post, but it was more down scale than last year which made a good change.:) I went to see Puss In Boots with my lovely friend Emily and then had my first Starbucks experience! The coffee was gorgeous but the staff were quite rude. I guess they're deafened by the extremely loud coffee machine thing. Hmm. Anyway, I'm back at school now and it feels like that holiday never happened! Counting down the days until February half-term...

We are planning a shopping spree to spend our Christmas/birthday money though, I'm currently looking online to see if there's anything I like the look of! To be honest, I deserve a treat for being put through all these exams and being given maths homework on the first day back! What goes through teachers minds I will never know...
